Cats

I have recovered somewhat from the awful stress of last night’s harassment. (See the February 26, 2026 posting.) Realistically, the cats are very well cared for. They are fed twice daily and have comfortable sleeping spots all day. They each get their medications on time and are quite happy though of course they always want extra treats and play time. I am going to continue to have someone come in to care for them as needed and will make some additional arrangements to have extra support in place. It’s always a good idea to have a backup or two in case I suddenly have to go out of town. My father’s health is not the best. Ideally, I’d like to spend some time with him.

I have two lovely cats, but I have not been able to properly care for them for the past four months or so. I currently have someone coming in to check on them, but if possible, I would like to find a temporary home for them while I deal with my current situation.

Both of the cats are females. Pip is an 8 year old tortoiseshell. Io is a 13 year old calico. Both cats are very sedate and would make excellent companions for an elderly or disabled person. Pip has a very sweet disposition and likes to be babied. Io is what the vet terms “a strong, independent woman.” She is also very playful.

I would be happy to cover any and all costs associated with their care.
