Notes:
This photo was taken as part of an assignment for my current photography class. We had to select an object and, without moving it, take four pictures from different vantage points, varying the lenses, lighting, etc. The guitar has a glossy finish, so I used Cinefoil to control reflections. Unfortunately, the black paper I had on hand was too small and had some reflectivity and texture, making it difficult to obtain a solid black background. I’m still reasonably happy with the photograph, but ideally, the black background would be lighter and the guitar's edge more clearly defined. Also, I should have oiled the fretboard before shooting.
