Notes:
The assignment for this photo was to have a directionally lit subject such that the light source was primarily to the side but also slightly behind. The side of the subject facing the viewer needed to be shaded. This was my first attempt at using such lighting, and it felt somewhere between odd and unnatural. However, I’m pleased with the way the color in the petals pops.
