I took another crack at this photo after retaking a class on black and white processing. It’s an upgrade from my original edit, as seen in the comparison below. I recently purchased a consumer-grade film scanner and some cleaning supplies to see if I can enhance detail, tonal range, and dust reduction compared to the scans produced by my local photo lab. I will post the results after I have learned the software and performed a few scans.
