Io has taken to spending the late afternoons listening to Bach and staring into the sun. I started getting her into the habit of listening to music after watching her respond positively to Víkingur Ólafsson’s Continuum. She has been suffering from bouts of osteoarthritis for the past year and music helped provide some psychic relief while the vet figured out the proper medications. We’ve gradually expanded her listening palette and she’s even started “sleeping” next to me when I practice the guitar.
