I love this photo so much that I’m afraid to edit it. Aside from the usual global color adjustments, I’m waiting until I know what to do with it. I’m unhappy with the bottom left corner, but cropping the bottom would fix it. Also, the edge of the roof in the top left corner should be removed.
The image reminds me of Northern California printmaker Tom Killion’s more recent work, which depicts turbulent landscapes in black with vibrant oranges, blues, and greens. Golden Staircase, J.M.T. is an excellent example.
