Notes:
I like this photo for the texture and shading, but the highlights should be brightened. Lightening some of the intermediate shadows while maintaining the darks might be interesting. Sharpening would add visual appeal. Ideally, I would like to preserve the tones so the resulting image isn’t too contrasty.
